5 Simple Daily Meals made with Sprouts

1. Radish Sprout and Avocado Tartine

Ingredients

  1. Sourdough

  2. Avocado

  3. Radish sprouts

  4. Seasonings (Olive oil, lime, salt and pepper)

Instructions

  • Toast a slice of hearty sourdough.

  • Mash ripe avocado with a squeeze of lime, salt, and pepper. Spread on toast.

  • Top with a handful of radish sprouts, a drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

2. Broccoli Sprout & Chickpea "Tabbouleh"

Ingredients

  1. Chickpeas

  2. Parsleys

  3. Tomato

  4. Cucumbers

  5. Red onion

  6. Broccoli sprouts

  7. Seasonings ( olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine cooked chickpeas, finely chopped parsley, tomato, cucumber, and red onion.

  • Stir in a generous 1/2 cup of broccoli sprouts.

  • Dress with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. The sprouts add a lovely fresh texture.

3. Vietnamese rice paper roll with sprouts

Ingredients

  1. Wrapper (rice paper)

  2. Protein of your choice

  3. Rice vermicelli

  4. Mint, Thai basil and cilantro

  5. Sprouts of your choice

  6. Dipping sauce

Instructions

  • Soften a rice paper round in warm water.

  • Layer rice noodles, fresh herbs (mint, basil), and your protein (shrimp or tofu) on the wrapper.

  • Add a handful of fresh sprouts.

  • Fold the sides in and roll up tightly.

  • Serve immediately with nước chấm (fish sauce dip) or peanut sauce.

4. Chicken and Sprouts

  1. Grilled chicken

  2. Rice

  3. Tomato

  4. Sprouts

  5. Lettuce

  6. Salt & pepper

  7. Herbs

Instructions

  • Dethaw and season the chicken

  • Grill and rest the chicken

  • Slice againt the grain

  • Plate the chicken, rice, vegetables and sprouts

  • Dress and season to taste

  1. Pulled meat

  2. Soft boiled eggs

  3. Mixed Sprouts

  4. Potatoes

  5. Olives

  6. Cabbage

Instructions

  • Prepare pulled meat and soft boiled eggs

  • Arrange ingredients in a bowl

  • Season to taste
